(PC/Computer titles, mens stuff etc). There seems to be a working niche market for this format, specially around train stations and airports. That way i ended up here at your post. I never had a copy of the TNY mag. As a student currently enrolled in editorial design (and currently working on a magazine redesign) it was interesting for me to consider design elements that were added and subtracted, which might have otherwise gone unnoticed. I agree that it is a truly a tragedy that the white space was obliterated with this redesign. We all need more white space, not less. This is a well thought critique on the NYT redesign.
