		<description>There have been a number of titles available in the smaller format in Germany for some time now. (PC/Computer titles, mens stuff etc).
There seems to be a working niche market for this format, specially around train stations and airports.</description>

		<description>funny thing: I was looking for info about Lyon Text on the net, because I wanted to purchase that font for setting body type in magazines and journals.
That way i ended up here at your post.

I never had a copy of the TNY mag. (I suppose they do not sell it a lot over here in Belgium)

I will keep it in mind, but nonetheless, I think Lyon Text is a really nice looking contemporary serif.

		<description>This is a well thought critique on the NYT redesign. As a student currently enrolled in editorial design (and currently working on a magazine redesign) it was interesting for me to consider design elements that were added and subtracted, which might have otherwise gone unnoticed. I agree that it is a truly a tragedy that the white space was obliterated with this redesign. We all need more white space, not less.</description>
